Folkestone Squash Club & More

Folkestone Squash Club

FSC has been running for over 50 years now and offers a friendly social club that welcomes players of all levels.
We host Club Nights every Friday from 5.20pm – 8pm, where we welcome both members and non-members alike, just drop in between these times and maybe socialise in the Cafe after for a beer (or three!).
We also have Internal Club Box Leagues, which are run through the summer and winter, to give you the chance to see where you stack up against the rest.

Ladies Squash Club Night

Every Monday from 7pm – 8.40pm we hold a ladies only club night where we welcome members and non-members with the chance to drop in at any time between then and both play and learn. Then after that, join us in the Cafe for a drink and a chat.

Academy of Squash

For all of your coaching and development needs.
And for the committed and talented players, we support and direct you through the pathways to play at County and National standards.

Racketball (Squash 57)

As the UK’s fastest growing sport, it’s just like squash but with a bigger ball and a shorter racket. The reason this sport is growing so quickly is down to the fact that it is “easy to learn yet difficult to master”, making it perfect for newcomers.
We have Squash 57 leagues and teams, if you are interested in some friendly competition, or come along to the FSC Club Nights where it’s incorporated into the evening.

Kent League Squash

The Kent League hosts over 60 clubs and holds multiple competitions throughout the year. We enter two teams into the Kent leagues who get a chance to play against players from all over the county.
We’re always looking for new players, so why not you?

Mini Squash at Schools

The Folkestone Academy of Squash have embarked on delivering a Mini Squash program to schools and opening up pathways. We enter school teams into the county Mini Squash competitions, run by Kent Squash, to encourage children to continue playing our great game.

Junior Squash Club

To coach and inspire youngsters to play our great game. From September 2017 Folkestone will be added as a venue, along with Canterbury and Thanet, to host Kent County Junior Box Leagues which are played monthly.
Now at 3 different venues, this will raise the standard of our Junior Squash giving them the opportunity to play the best in South East Kent on a regular basis.

Squash 101

Squash 101 is run by a leader who’ll put you through your paces with fun, challenging activities together with like-minded players. You’ll undertake individual and team challenges, honing your ball and racket skills then put them into practice in game situations. The sessions are fun, informal and different every week.
PLUS you’ll get the chance to play squash in the dark, with our new UV Squash!

Coaching

Folkestone can now boast one of the strongest Coaching teams in South East Kent.
Our coaching skill set is as follows:
Personal, Group, Junior, Racketball, Mini Squash, Squash 101 and Team coaching.
So if there is any part of your game you would like to improve, we can help!
