Fusion Sports Camps

Half Term camp 2021: 1st-4th of June

Our Holiday Camps run at Folkestone Sports Centre, Folkestone CT19 5HX. Camp days will run from 9am – 4pm, with the option to drop off early from 8:30am and pick up late at 5:00pm at no additional charge. The camp is available for 7-15 years old.

Our multi-sports camps vary each day of the holiday; we have activities that are fun for all children, whether they like sport or not. Our aim is to provide children with an exciting action-packed week full of fun and physical activity.
Fusion Sports Camps are led by qualified coaches and sports professionals. All staff are DBS checked and qualified first aiders.

We are currently not able to take Childcare Vouchers, but we are now in the process of getting this into place; if you are someone who uses Childcare Vouchers and would like to enquire about our camps, please contact us on fusion.sports@folkestonesportscentre.co.uk and one of our staff can provide you with more information.

With the current government restrictions in place with COVID-19 we are still only able to offer full-week* (*4days) bookings in order for us to be able to bubble children and keep them safe. We are hoping this will change for our Summer program and will keep parents and carers updated on any changes.

We have excellent facilities here at Folkestone Sports Centre that lends themselves well to so many sports & activities. Our easter camps will consist of: NERF battles, Swimming, Archery, Inflatable fun, and our very new Skywalk course will also feature within our Half Term program.

To book your place on our Half Term Sports Camp please follow the link below. Once you have booked on and made payment you will receive an email from our team with the necessary booking forms.
If you are a Folkestone Sports Centre member, please remember to login beforehand as this will amend the price at checkout.

If you have any concerns or would like to speak with one of our Fusion Sports team, please email us on: fusion.sports@folkestonesportscentre.co.uk

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Keeping your child safe

1.       Social Distancing

We will encourage social distancing as much as possible; hand washing will take place regularly throughout the day. Children will not be required to wear face masks, but if they would feel more comfortable in doing so then that is also fine.
Staff will not be permitted to wear face masks during the camps, staff will however be undergoing regular lateral flow tests ahead of camps.

2.       Capped Capacity & ‘Bubble system’

We have reduced our camp capacity and children can only book now in a week block booking and will remain in their bubble for the 5 days they are at camp. There will be a senior full-time staff member who will implement safety measures at all times.
Anyone displaying a high temperature upon registration OR Coronavirus symptoms will not be allowed to participate in our Camps. Should anyone show symptoms whilst at camp, we will be following current government isolation rules and will contact parents/carers immediately.

3.      Temperature checks/ Track & Trace

Anyone displaying a high temperature upon registration OR Coronavirus symptoms will not be allowed to participate in our Camps. Should anyone show symptoms whilst at camp, we will be following current government isolation rules and will contact parents/carers immediately.
We are further following a track and trace system, whereby a form will need to be completed by every parent/carer on behalf of their children during registration confirming that they agree to be contacted if anyone at our camps comes back as having a positive test for COVID-19.

4.       Equipment

Our equipment will be cleaned upon use and we have designed times for these cleaning procedures to take place across the day. A deep clean will also take place at the end of each day on camp.

5.       Registration/Collection

We will be asking parents/carers to follow our one-way system in and out of the building for registration and will be asked to wait outside of the hall upon collection of their child following social distance guidelines. (we will have markings outside to follow).
Staff will now also be able to sign children in and out when a parent arrives to avoid the unnecessary touching of paper.
